Cap Size Guide for Human Hair Wigs
IMPORTANT: MEASUREMENT GUIDELINES FOR PROPER FIT.
A. HAIR PREPARATION: Flatten all natural hair completely (braiding or flat wrapping) before measuring. For longer/thicker hair, secure with multiple thin ties distributed evenly. Avoid single bulky points (like high ponytails).
B. ACCURACY: Use a flexible measuring tape. Ensure hair tie usage replicates how you will wear your hair under the wig.
C. FIT CONSIDERATIONS: The measurements do not have to be perfect, as wig caps are elastic and feature adjustable elastic bands, combs and pins for a secure and comfortable fit. Sometimes a smaller size can offer a snugger fit without the need for elastic bands. Other times, a larger size is preferable for a more relaxed feel on the scalp, or when the hair underneath the cap is thick.

Can I personalize my hair piece?
We respect our customers' individuality and their individual style needs. In this regard we support the customization of your desired hair piece. A wig can be personalized in terms of hair color, length, texture and style, cap type or size, or lace type or size. A wig is labeled as personalized when we incur changes to it on your request. All wigs that offer cap size options that are not currently in stock are also labeled as personalized products. The completion of such a product may take up to 1 month, but we also reserve the right to prolong this period if necessary, in order to make sure your requests are being met. The customization of a hair piece may incur extra charges. If you think you need a customized wig please feel free to contact us through our contact page.
For human hair extensions we offer no personalization services at the moment, but feel free to contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
What kind of hair is used for PlatinumBlack Wigs hair pieces?
For our human hair wigs we are using either virgin or Remy human hair. Please read carefully the specifications of the hair piece that you are interested in, so that you know which kind of hair was used for your wig. We aspire to offer consistent quality thought our models, but please take in consideration that every human hair donor has a unique hair structure and texture and that might influence the end result. Also the majority of our hair pieces are being professionally bleached and dyed, processes that might also change the hair structure.
For our human hair extensions we are using high quality Remy human hair. More information you can find in the description of every product.
The synthetic hair pieces that we sell are made of heat resistant synthetic fiber hair. The heat the hair withstands can vary, so please read carefully the specification of every product you consider buying.
How to care for my new wig or extensions?
The lifespan of your hairpiece is extremely dependent on how much care and attention you are willing to invest in its maintenance.
